There Is No Such Thing...

I bounce, I roll, I skate, I smile.

And there is no such thing as a depressed mind.

Freeing myself from the sad state I was in, 

my body is now dancing to upbeat tunes.

I feel light, easy and just right, you know.

When you left I couldn’t get up.

My body was heavy, my brain empty, 

weighing me down into cold bed sheets.

Today I feel like I can’t get down.

The sun is shining bright, the city lives and breathes.

I am high up in the clouds.

And there is no such thing as a broken heart.
