What has happened to the old me?


Was I careless enough to let go of all my values and beliefs?

But for what?

Just to be united with you until the end?

The end of time when the circle of life would separate us.

But then what happened to the old us?

Were we right when we let it all fade away?

What happened to the promises?

Did you just say the words without any meaning?

“Promise,” you said, but “nothing truly binding,” is what you were truly believing.

It’s true. I was careless and you and me? We were never meant to be.
