Like Heaven... 🕊️

I took a breath.

And the wind was gently blowing through my hair,

as if you were just right here standing next to me.

It felt like freedom with a heavenly scent.

Though when reality told me it wasn’t you,

I closed my eyes ’cause it got hard to bare.

I took a second breath.

And I reminisced about the sweetest dreams,

that seemed so close but then so far away.

They tasted bitter, with a splash of honey.

But how could honey ever not be tasteful,

and how could I think it all is not what it seems?
