Artist Spotlight - Holland Belle
Betawave records brought Holland Belle onto our radar and I am so glad they did. We met for the first time on the day of our first spotlight series with Betawave at CRUX in Atwater Village. Holland brings sincere, kind, relaxed energy into the room just by entering it without so much as singing a note. Once she does start playing her alluring, well trained, darkly melodic voice creates an atmosphere within the room that makes you want to simply soak it all in. Her vintage guitar adds a richness and depth to her acoustic set that I personally adored. Watching her perform has an almost religious flavor where the music seems to move in and out of her with ease and grace. Get to know Holland Belle better in her interview below, check out the Polaroids of her rocking CRUX merchandise, and don’t forget to watch the videos from this spotlight evening.
