OCEANS 💔

You betrayed my trust,
as you led me to believe
that you were rust and I was your eve.

Shame is stronger on my behalf,
it’s such a cliché, most would laugh,
I thought you were different, but still you left,
taking my light, an unforgivable theft.

Never again will you have the courtesy,
of seeing me or being free.
So run on off to the oceans blue,
It’s here I hope you feel what I feel, just for a moment or two.
