Where are you based currently?

I live in New Jersey, work in New York.

Please describe your initial start of modeling…

I have always wanted to model, but I never knew how to get myself out there. I nagged my mom over and over again if she knew a way I could get myself out there. Later that day when she was listening to the radio she heard about a show in Philly where agencies would go scout new talent. I begged her to go and she decided to take me. I got two call backs but had to decline one because I had just started college. I signed under BMG Models my freshman year and booked a few small jobs. As school got busier, my modeling career slowed down. I am now graduated and ready to put my full force in and get back out there!

What inspires you?

Honestly, in a way rude people inspire me. There’s nothing more that I hate than someone being rude or disrespectful so I’ll take that negative energy and make it positive. Anyone who tells me I can’t, I’ll prove I can.  Anyone who doesn’t appreciate a nice gesture, I’ll be even nicer the next time because I know someone out there will appreciate it.  I’m the type of person who holds doors expecting people to say thank you, but maybe it’s a good thing they don’t all say it because there will always be that one person that is overly grateful. Rude people just remind me that not everyone will say yes, there will be obstacles in everything you do, but you just have to keep going and hope that you make a change somewhere along the way.

Please tell us about your favorite place to be!

My favorite place to be is the most basic answer… the beach.  It keeps me sane. If I am having a bad week all I need to do is put my toes in the sand and run into the water and all of my problems seem to drift away with the ocean tide.

How many tattoos do you have and what do they mean to you?

I have three tattoos. Two are little baby ones, one is a small wave behind my ear and the other is a tattoo I have with my best friend; she has the anchor and I have the ship wheel. My other tattoo is of an eagle. I got it when I was 18, but I am still in love with it. Eagles represent bravery, independence, and wisdom. I have learned the only person you can really depend on is yourself and so you must learn from your mistakes, have strength when you want to crumble and not be afraid to face life on your own.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

I have to think about this one which makes me feel like I haven’t done anything too crazy, but I guess the craziest thing I’ve done was nearly getting arrested at age 13.  I recently had foot surgery at the time but that didn’t stop me from trying to run from the cops. I ditched my crutches and ran with my cast, trying to hop a fence until we got caught.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I believe something develops at first sight, but not love. To me, love is something that forms when you grow with a person. How can you fall in love with someone you know absolutely nothing about?

What’s your favorite quote?

I hate this question only because there are so many messages I try to get across so if I could write down like five I would, but I guess one that always sticks with me is… “keep fighting until I get there.” I am not sure where I got this quote from but I was reminiscing on Facebook and I guess I made it my status when I was 15 years old. I was ambitious then and still am today.
